Congratulations to all students who participated in Le Grand Concours (French Contest) on March 15. The results are in!


Le Grand Concours is a national contest sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Nearly 44,000 students in all 50 states competed in the 2023 event. The Concours is on the list of approved tests published by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. International School is proud to announce that several of our students have ranked in the highest scores and received an award this year.

In their French classes, throughout the school year, they have used the French language to engage with authentic documents and individuals around the world, all the while exploring cultures as diverse as Mali and Monaco, Senegal and Switzerland, Tunisia, and Togo. The superior level of language achievement that they have attained will serve them well as they use these linguistic and communication skills throughout their personal and professional lives interacting with diverse peoples and cultures around the world and in their own communities.”
